Acs Journal Publishing Agreement User Guide
The submission of spectra (.doc, .docx, .txt, .pdf, .tif) is highly recommended for all new and/or key connections, following these guidelines: although this document contains basic information about the preparation and submission of the manuscript as well as other important information about the publication, we also recommend that authors visit the ACS Publication Center for more information on everything, what is necessary to prepare (and revise) manuscripts of acecetic journals and partner journals. If your article is published in an ACS journal or partner journal, the appropriate authors will receive a link that provides up to 50 free digital prints of the final published work. This link is valid for the first 12 months after publication online and can be shared by email or on an author`s website. After one year, restrictions on access to your article will be lifted and you will be able to share the URL “Article on Demand” on social networks and other channels. To access all your links to “Articles on Demand”, log in to your ACS Publishing Center account and visit the “My Published Manuscripts” page. Articles, journals and commercial reprints can be ordered. The most suitable articles for publication in JACS are those that deal with a phase of “pure” chemistry different from “applied” chemistry, but not all manuscripts describing well-executed work can be accepted. Articles of high scientific quality, originality, significance and conceptual novelty that are of interest to JACS` broad and diverse contemporary readership will be prioritized for publication. Methodological articles must include one or more applications of general interest and, unless significant new advances are announced, will be rejected with the recommendation to transfer manuscripts to journals. Papers that draw conclusions from the processing of existing data should also contain significant new data and make new experimental or theoretical predictions of general interest. Papers that primarily expand previously published knowledge in the form of communications in JACS or elsewhere and that contain only experimental data, without a significantly expanded scope and without providing new ideas or conceptual breakthroughs, will be rejected.
Articles that are primarily routine extensions of previously published related articles are also rejected with the recommendation to transfer manuscripts to journals. Articles may be withdrawn for scientific or ethical reasons and may be requested by the authors of the article or the editors of the journal, but will ultimately be published at the discretion of the publisher. Articles containing serious erroneous or erroneous data so that their findings and conclusions cannot be invoked may be withdrawn to correct scientific records. When an article is removed, a revocation notice containing information on the reason for the revocation will be published. The originally published article remains online, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. B if required by law or if the availability of published content poses a risk to public health). Authors should provide sufficient information (as described in more detail below) to determine the identity of a new compound, its purity and yield. It must also contain sufficient experimental details for another researcher to reproduce the synthesis.
Characterisation data and experimental details should be included either in the work or in the supporting information. It should be emphasized that the following is only a general guideline and that authors are encouraged to provide as much data as possible to support their structural allocations. In some cases, a reviewer or publisher may require authors to submit additional data to ensure the validity of proposed language. Related works of the author. Any related work being considered for publication in any medium must be cited in the manuscript, and the publisher must be informed at the time of submission. If related articles by one of the authors are not available because they are printed (accepted), submitted or in preparation for submission to JACS or another journal, a copy of each related article must be uploaded as “Supporting Information for Review Only” at the time of submission. If a cited reference has already appeared on the web, indicate that it will be published electronically (“ASAP” for ACS journals) and provide the DOI number for convenient access. If possible, the full citation of the journal should be completed when revising the manuscript or correcting the page reference.
The impact of your research is not limited to what you can express in words. Tables and illustrations such as charts, photos, illustrations, tables, and other visuals can play an important role in effectively communicating your results. Our numbering service generates publishable numbers that meet the specifications of the journal of your choice. This includes changes to file type, resolution, color space, font, scaling, line thickness, and layout (to improve readability and professional appearance). Manuscripts submitted to JACS must be written in a style intended for a wider audience than for articles created for more specialized journals. .
