Agreement on Working Activity

I have just been promoted to Administration Team Leader. My supervisor asked me to create a first working agreement layout. During the entire period for which the contract was concluded (but for a maximum period of 52 weeks), the performance of the work may not exceed half of the specified weekly working time. If you need a work permit, you must have one even if your work is based on a PPD agreement. Without a work permit, it would be illegal work! It is important to remind the team that these actions are not even triggered. They can (and should) change as we learn more about collaboration. Retrospectives are a good time to have an action that changes an existing work arrangement when we realize that it is an obstacle to better collaboration. It is important to see that not all the rules that otherwise apply to regular employment contracts apply to this type of agreement. For example, if you wish to agree on DPP/DPČ agreements: overtime, occasions when you are excluded from work by an obstacle (illness), holidays and others, you must expressly agree with the employer, otherwise you will not be entitled to them. Before signing an agreement, check its contents with a lawyer! If you wish to stay on the territory of the Czech Republic on the basis of an employee card, the amount of your salary must be at least equal to the amount of the minimum wage indicated. It is 8,500 CZK for the year 2014 and the working time is at least 15 hours per week. Describe the purpose of the exercise.

I like to use the following introduction and description of what an employment contract is and how it can benefit a team: in addition to an employment contract, an employer can also conclude a service contract with you (DPČ – agreement to perform work or DPP – agreement to complete work). These are additional forms of employment that apply to specific legislation and should be concluded in exceptional cases. A work agreement is a valuable tool for creating a common understanding and way of working for teams. This practice, also known as social contract, is a great foundation for building high-performing teams. “Becoming a team means working together and supporting each other in our common goals. If you wish to stay on the territory of the Czech Republic on the basis of an employee card, it is possible to conclude only an agreement to carry out the work. If your contract or agreement does not contain details on how the DPČ can be terminated, you can terminate it by mutual agreement or by termination if no reason is to be given. In such a case, a notice period of 15 days shall enter into force from the date on which the notification was served on the other Party. Immediate termination of DPČ is only possible in the same cases as immediate termination of an employment relationship. This commitment is supported by writing what all team members see as important protocols that the team must adhere to in order to maximize their ability to deliver faster and with better quality. Personally, you can do this by physically grouping the sticky notes.

For each group, make sure there are clear actions for each item, if any. For example, if a group of items alludes to how we handle external team requests or unforeseen issues, it`s helpful as a team to agree on how we`ll respond to them. We can create actions such as “Must be discussed with the purchase order”, “Must be maintained according to our story format taking into account the definition of Loan” and “The purchase order will update the external part with the expected delivery according to the capacity of the team and the discussion”. The DPP must be completed in writing. It can only be concluded in such a case that the scope of your work does not exceed 300 hours in a calendar year. If you complete another PPD with the same employer, the total number of hours per year is summed (p.B. if you enter into a PPS with an employer for 100 hours in the respective calendar year, another PPD can only be completed with the same employer for a maximum of 200 hours in the same calendar year). However, if you wish to enter into another DPP with another employer, the maximum of 300 hours per calendar year will again be available to you. For each month in which your income is more than CZK 10,000, your employer must pay your social security and health insurance premiums. You do not have the right to take leave in the performance of the work on the basis of the DPP, which may, however, be agreed in the written contract or in a supplement thereto. You must always receive a written copy of the DPP.

For remote teams, we`ve used FunRetros with great success (the merge feature for grouping and voting is really useful), if you want a more “traditional” feel, we`ve also played around with the web whiteboard (the look of sticky notes is a lot of fun). Discuss each item added by team members and start grouping items that seem to relate to each other. .
